TICA Hotel Room Inspection Procedures will be enforced and can be viewed at http://tica.org/members/forms/eo/hotel_room_policy.pdf. Entry in this show, and lodging at the show hotel, shall constitute an acknowledgment by and consent of the exhibitor to these procedures.

Transportation: Closest airport is Jacksonville International Airport, Jacksonville, FL.

Show Hours: Check-in will be from 7:30 to 8:30 AM Saturday. Judging will begin promptly at 9:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Advertised show hours for the Public will be 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM both days. All cats must remain in the show hall during advertised hours unless permission to leave is given by the Show Manager. No cats may be left in the show hall overnight.

Show Rules: TICA show rules will be strictly enforced. By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and show committee. Official show rules, registration information and forms may be obtained from TICA, P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551 or viewed on their website at www.tica.org.

We accept checks, money orders, bank cashier's checks, or PayPal. No payments will be accepted at the door without written authorization from the entry clerk and must be in cash. The club reserves the right to require payment in cash or money order. Entries belonging to exhibitors on TICA’s Temporary or Permanent Suspension lists will not be accepted. Ancient City Cat club will pursue any debt owed us to the extent of TICA show rules and Florida law. A $50 charge plus related bank fees will be assessed for any check returned as not payable for any reason.

Our PayPal account is ancientcitycc@gmail.com. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Ancient City Cat Club and mailed to:

            Ancient City Cat Club
            C/O Liz Hansen
            4899 Squaw Valley Drive
            Caledonia, IL 61011

Registration: With the exception of cats competing in the Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits classes, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in the cat's first show. However, to be scored for TICA titles and Regional / International awards, all cats (other than household pet kittens) must be registered by their second show. Please contact TICA for registration forms and information (TICA, P. O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551).

Health: This is a non-vetted show. Any cat showing signs of illness, parasites or fungus will be escorted from the show hall, along with any cats owned, housed or agented by the same exhibitor. All entries should be vaccinated against feline viral rhinotracheitis, calici and distemper (panleukopenia) at least two (2) weeks prior to the show, and should test negative for feline leukemia and FIV ("feline AIDS"). Any feline from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within twenty-one (21) days prior to the opening day of the show is ineligible for entry. An obviously pregnant or lactating cat will be disqualified. TICA show rules require all claws, front and back, be clipped prior to judging. All entries should also have a current rabies vaccination. Florida law requires any animal over the age of four (4) months to be vaccinated against rabies within the last twelve (12) months (be prepared to show proof).

Grooming spaces: These measure approximately 22 inches x 22 inches x 44 inches.

For Sale: Sales cages will be available to exhibitors ONLY and must be owned by the same / paid exhibitor. Kittens must be three (3) calendar months of age. Proof of age must be provided on request. Any person disregarding these rules will be asked to leave the show. Florida requires health certificates accompany any animal sold in the state. Please familiarize yourself with applicable Florida statutes. Health Certificates could be checked. Ancient City accepts no responsibility for kittens / cats sold in the show hall.

Kittens: All kittens entered for competition must be at least four (4) and less than eight (8) calendar months old on the day of the show. No kitten under three (3) months of age will be allowed in the show hall (be prepared to show proof of age). Kittens may be spayed or neutered.

Household Pets: Household pets are very welcome at this show! Declawed Household Pets are OK at TICA shows. This is due to the number of HHPs that are rescue cats and may have already been declawed at the time of rescue. Household pets eight (8) months of age and older MUST be spayed or neutered. If you are not sure of the proper division or color of your cat, check out http://www.seregiontica.org/Colors/intro.htm or send the entry clerk a color photo of your entry. Photo will be returned at check in.

Supplies: Cat litter will be available, but please bring your own litter pan and food and water dishes!

Benching: All exhibitors must check in at the door prior to benching. One (1) adult or two (2) kittens are allowed per single cage space. Each entry will be provided one (1) cage space unless free space is included in the entry fee. A single cage space measures approximately 22" X 22" X 22". A double cage space measures 22” by 44” x 22”, approximately. All cages must be covered on three sides. For the cat’s comfort, we recommend that you provide a rug and a top cover. All cats and kittens in the show hall must have an assigned cage and no cats may be confined to carriers, either displayed or under cages during show hours. Any person disregarding this rule will be required to leave the show hall. If you have an odd number of entries, you must pay for an even number of single benching spaces.

Special benching requests will be honored to the best of our ability. One benching request per exhibitor.

Clerks: Are indispensable! TICA certified clerks will be paid $35 per day clerked, plus lunch, soft drinks, and a marked catalog, not to mention our undying gratitude! Requests for specific judges will be honored to the extent possible on a first come, first served basis and are subject to change. Currently licensed TICA clerks will be given preference. Trainees and assistants are always welcome. Clerks and trainees will be given preferential benching if we know in advance that you will be clerking! Please indicate on the summary sheet if you wish to clerk. Clerks may not deduct anticipated clerk payment from entry fees.

Stewards: If you or your child is interested in being a steward, please indicate that on the summary sheet. Stewards will be paid $20 per ring plus lunch. Please do not deduct anticipated steward payment from entry fees.

Awards: Plaques will be awarded in accordance with TICA show rules. If you wish to sponsor any special awards, please contact the show manager.

Ring Sponsorships: Ring sponsorships are $25 each or you can sponsor all the rings for $125.00. Judges may have multiple sponsorships.

Advertising Rates: Catalog: Full Page: $50.00, ½ Page: $35.00, ¼ Page: $20.00, business card: $5.00, Special Full page TICA show flyer ad: $10.00. Advertisers should contact Liz Hansen.
