Aquaticats, Inc. is pleased to offer TICA 2009 Annual participants the opportunity to attend
a Ring Clerking School or an Entry Clerking School on Friday afternoon, September 4th
at the Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819.

NOTE: Pre-registration is required.

Ring Clerking School:

The goal of the Ring Clerking School is to provide basic training to those interested in becoming confident, competent, efficient and experienced (and licensed) ring clerks.

Topics: The role of the Ring Clerk; review of TICA's clerking program and its requirements; review of Show Rules and procedures as it applies to the Ring Clerk; ring protocol; clerking mechanics (setting up a ring, marking a catalog correctly, making transfers, completing finals pages, and checking judges' sheets); and a review of a sample exam.

The goal of the Entry Clerking School is to provide basic training to those interested in being an entry clerk or becoming a licensed entry clerking. Note: Anyone applying to the TICA judging program must also be a licensed entry clerk.

Topics: role of the Entry Clerk; a step-by-step review of the guidelines for entry clerking a TICA show; a review of the working relationship of the Entry Clerk with the club; a review the available computer programs available for entry clerking a TICA show; and, the requirements for becoming a licensed Entry Clerk.
