Please!!! No calls before 8 AM ET or after 8 PM ET! Thank you!!!

Show Hall: St. Petersburg Coliseum, 535 4th Ave. North, St. Petersburg, FL, (727) 892-5202. The show hall is air conditioned, wheelchair accessible, and is a non-smoking facility. There is a $5.00 per day parking charge and must be paid at time of entry.

Show Hotel: Show Hotel: Days Inn, 3910 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater, FL 33762. Ask for Shelley Abblett specifically. (727) 573-3334. Room rate is $59, includes Daybreak Breakfast. Shuttle provided to and from Tampa (TPA) or St. Pete/Clearwater (PIE) airports. Hotel reservations MUST BE MADE BY June15, 2008, for this rate. This rate cannot be booked online.

Please be sure to confine spraying males (and females) and clean up after yourself and your cats so we will be welcome here again. TICA Hotel Guidelines will be followed. Please make every effort to leave your room in the condition it was found, or better. Tipping housekeeping staff does not hurt, a happy housekeeping staff does not complain to management! If you have a problem you cannot take care of yourself, please let show management know and we will do whatever we can to help. The condition of your room reflects on the entire cat fancy. It only takes one mishap to lose a hotel.

Transportation: Tampa International Airport (TPA) or the St. Petersburg/Clearwater (PIE) Airport. If you will be flying in, the Days Inn will provide a shuttle to and from both airports, but not before 7 AM or after 10 PM. You must call Days Inn (727) 573-3334 when you arrive and have luggage in hand when asking for the hotel shuttle. Limos, taxis and car rentals are available at the airport. The show hall is about a twenty-minute drive to the airport, so please leave plenty of time for your departing flight (we recommend flights leaving 6:00 PM or later). The show hall is approximately 15 minutes from the hotel. Again please alert the entry clerk if you would need transportation to and from the hotel.

Show Hours: Check-in will be from 7:30 to 9:00 AM Saturday. Judging will begin promptly at 9:00 AM EACH day. Advertised show hours will be 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Sunday. Please plan to remain in the show hall during advertised show hours. Spectators will be coming in the last hour.

Show Rules: TICA show rules will be strictly enforced. By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and show committee. Official show rules, registration information & forms may be obtained from TICA, P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551 or viewed on their website at www/tica.org.

Payment: By entering the show, you agree to pay all fees whether you attend the show or not. Fees must be received no later than the closing date of 07/6/2008 unless you receive written permission from show manager. The club reserves the right to require payment in cash or money order. Entries belonging to exhibitors on TICA's Temporary or Permanent Suspension lists will not be accepted. Hurricane Cat Club will pursue any debt owed us to the extent of TICA show rules and Florida law.

Registration: Except for Korats, registration with TICA is not required to compete. However, to be scored for TICA titles and regional/International awards, cats, kittens, alters, and household pet adults must be registered. Championship cats, kittens, alters, and adult household pets will only be scored once without a registration number. Household pet kittens (4-7 months) need not be registered to be scored.

Health: This is a non-vetted show. Any cat showing signs of illness, parasites or fungus will be escorted from the show hall, along with any cats owned, housed or agented by the same exhibitor. All entries should be vaccinated against feline viral rhinotracheitis, calici and distemper (panleukopenia) at least two weeks prior to the show, and should test negative for feline leukemia and FIV ("feline AIDS"). Florida law requires any animal over the age of 4 months be vaccinated against rabies within the last 12 months (be prepared to show proof)! TICA show rules require all claws, front and back, be clipped prior to benching.

Kittens: All kittens entered for competition must be at least four (4) and not more than eight (8) calendar months old on the day of the show. Kittens may be spayed or neutered.

Household Pets: Household pets are very welcome at this show! Declawed Household Pets are OK at TICA shows. This is due to the number of HHPs that are rescue cats and may have already been declawed at the time of rescue. Household pets over 8 months of age MUST be spayed or neutered. HHP's are judged in 10 divisions. If you are not sure of the proper color or division of your cat, check out http://www.seregiontica.org/Colors/intro.htm or send a color photo to the entry clerk along with a description of the hair length on the tail. Measure if necessary. Your picture will be returned at check-in.

For Sale: Sales cages will be available to exhibitors. TICA rules allow no more than two kittens or one cat benched in a single cage. No kitten under 3 months of age will be allowed in the showhall (be prepared to show proof of age), and no kittens or cats may be confined to carriers during show hours. Florida requires health certificates accompany any animal sold in the state. If you are bringing cats or kittens to sell, Hurricane Cat Club strongly advises you familiarize yourself with the applicable statutes, and takes no responsibility for your failure to do so.

Grooming spaces: These measure 22 inches x 22 inches x 44 inches. Space is limited.

Supplies: Cat litter will be available, but please bring your own litter pan! Each entry will be assigned a single cage, approx. 22" X 24" X 22". The two sides, back, and top must be covered. For the comfort of your cat(s), please bring something for the bottom of the cage too!

Handicapped Spaces: Must be noted on the entry sheet. They will be available on a first come, first served basis and will be the end of row spaces because they are limited. End of row requests will be completed after all the handicapped needs are met.

Clerks: Are indispensable! Ring clerks will be reimbursed one day's entry fee per day clerked, plus lunch, soft drinks and a marked catalog, not to mention our undying gratitude. Requests for specific judges will be honored to the extent possible on a first come, first served basis and are subject to change. Currently licensed TICA clerks will be given preference. Trainees and assistants are always welcome. Clerks and trainees will be given preferential benching if we know in advance that you will be clerking!

Awards: Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with TICA show rules. Donations to our rosette fund are greatly appreciated! If you wish to sponsor any special awards, please contact the show manager.

Vending: A vending contract can be obtained by calling Bonnie Stubbins, Phone: (813) 814-2333.

NEITHER Hurricane Cat Club, St. Petersburg Coliseum, Days Inn, nor TICA May be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to animals, personal property, exhibitors, or their guests.
