Show Motel: LaQuinta Inn & Suites, 1400 Roebuck Drive, Meridian, MS, (601) 693-2300. Rates are $55.00 for a Double; $65.00 for a King. You must mention Mississippi Cat Fanciers. Show Rule 903.1 will be used as a guideline for hotel rooms.

Food: Coffee, soft drinks, and snacks will be available in the show hall. There are many restaurants near the show hall.

Show Hours: Judging hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM both days.

Benching: By exhibitor. One adult or two kittens are allowed per single cage space. A single cage space measures 22 inches x22 inches x 22 inches. A double cage space (extra half cage) measures 22 inches x 44 inches x 22 inches. All cages must be covered on three sides. For the cat's comfort, we recommend that you provide a rug and a top cover as well. All cats and kittens present in the show hall must have an assigned cage. No cats may be confined to carriers, either displayed or under cages, during show hours. Any person disregarding this rule will be asked to leave the show hall. Cats may not be left in the show hall over night. No entry may leave the show hall early without permission from a member of the show committee. If you do so, you may risk loss of wins and finals.

Services: Cat litter will be provided. Please bring your own cat food, dishes, and litter pans.

Airport: Meridian Regional Airport. You must provide the entry clerk with your flight schedule so that we may arrange to fetch you and return you for departure.

Show Rules: This show is licensed and sanctioned by the International Cat Association and is subject to their rules. TICA show rules will be strictly enforced. By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and show committee. Official show rules, registration information andforms may be obtained from TICA, P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551 or viewed on their website at www.tica.org.

Kittens: All kittens entered for competition must be at least four but less than eight calendar months old on the day of the show. No kittens under the age of three months may be in the show hall. Proof of age must be available for verification.

Household Pets: HHPs over eight months old must be spayed or neutered.

Health Requirements: This is a non-vetted show. All cats and kittens must be immunized against feline enteritis/rhino/calici virus at least 21 days prior to the show, and should test negative for FeLV and FIV. Cats with ear mites, fungus, or showing any signs of illness will not be permitted in the show hall. All exhibitors accompanying said cat(s) will also be dismissed from the show hall. Any cat or kitten from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within 21 days before the show is ineligible for entry and/or exhibition. Any cat that is obviously pregnant or lactating will be disqualified. All claws (front and back) must be clipped before judging. Declawed cats are eligible for entry.

Registration Requirements: With the exception of Korats, registration in TICA is not necessary to compete in the cat's first show, but registration is required for the next show as well as for confirmation of championships, TICA Regional and International Awards.

For Sale Cats/Kittens: All kittens for sale must be at least 3 calendar months of age. All cats/kittens must have their required shots. No kittens under the age of three months will be allowed in the benching or judging areas. Permission must be obtained from the Show Committee to sell Cats or Kittens.

Mississippi Cat Fanciers, the Frank Cochran Center, or LaQuinta cannot be held liable for loss, theft, or accident to cats, kittens, personal property, exhibitors, or their guests.

The show hall is a nonsmoking building.

1. I will enter my cat(s) at my own risk, subject to the conditions in the Show Rules of THE INTERNATIONAL CAT ASSOCIATION and will abide by the rulings of the Show Committee

2. I am at least 18 years of age. If you are not 18 years old or older, a parent or guardian must complete the on line forms.

3. I understand that transmission of one or more of the E-Mail Entry Forms accompanying this flyer constitutes an agreement to pay for my entries even if I fail to bench.

4. I will mail a check payable to Mississippi Cat Fanciers covering the entry fees for this show within a week of submitting the form(s) or by the closing date of the show (whichever comes first) to the designated Entry Clerk.
