Show Hall: Sanford Civic Center, 401 Seminole Blvd., Sanford, FL 32772. Parking is free. We will have food available for purchase for lunch. Outside food is not allowed. The show hall is handicapped accessible is a non-smoking, climate-controlled facility.
Show Hotel: The following are pet friendly hotels in the area:
Show Hours: Saturday Check-in and exhibitor benching will be from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM. The morning session will begin promptly at 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM on Saturday morning and the afternoon session will begin at 1:00PM until 4:30 PM. Show hall will open 8:30 AM Sunday and morning judging will begin at 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM. Show Rule 212.7 All cats shall be presented for final awards during advertised show hours, unless special permission to leave has been granted by the Show Manager. ONCE JUDGING IS COMPLETED SUNDAY, EXHIBITORS MAY LEAVE. Cats cannot remain in the show hall overnight.
Show Set-up: Exhibitor set up will be Friday afternoon, beginning at 1:00 PM. The hall will close promptly at 6:00 PM. Watch the TICA lists--if you are not on the TICA lists, it is advisable to join for notification of any updates.
Transportation: Orlando Sanford International Airport, 1200 Red Cleveland Blvd., Sanford, Florida. Note: Allegiant Air flies directly into Sanford and all flights are nonstop. Affordable flights available from most destinations. Show hall is 4.4 miles from the airport. Alternate airport is Orlando International Airport, 1 Jeff Fuqua Blvd, Orlando, Florida, which is 35 miles from the show hall.
Payment: By entering the show, you agree to pay all fees whether you attend the show or not. Fees are not refundable OR transferable, and must be received no later than the closing date of January 4, 2021 (or until show fills). The club reserves the right to require payment in cash or money order. Entries belonging to exhibitors on TICA's Temporary or Permanent Suspension lists will not be accepted. MysTICAl Moon Cat Club will pursue any debt owed us to the extent of TICA show rules and Florida law. PAYMENT AT THE DOOR MUST BE WITH PRIOR APPROVAL OF SHOW MANAGEMENT AND MUST BE IN CASH. NSF checks and fees owed due to failure to bench will be reported to TICA in accordance with Show Rule 24.4. The fee for NSF checks is $35.00 (no exceptions), payable by certified check or money order.

Registration: To show a cat in a TICA show, your cat might need to be TICA registered or eligible for registration in TICA. All cats shown in the following classes must be TICA registered to be entered in a show: Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits. All cats shown in the Kitten, Championship, and Alter classes must be TICA registered or eligible for registration. If not registered, proof of registration eligibility is required to enter the show. Contact the entry clerk for more information on how to enter your cat, kitten, or alter without at TICA registration number. Household Pets and Household Pet Kittens do not need to be TICA registered to compete. However, to be scored for TICA titles and regional / International awards, all cats (other than household pet kittens) must be registered by their second show. Show Rules: TICA show rules will be strictly enforced. By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and show committee. Official show rules, registration information and forms may be obtained from TICA, P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551 or viewed on their website at www.tica.org.
Benching: All exhibitors must check in at the door prior to benching. This show is benched based on Double Cage space only (approx. 22" X 22" X 44"). The first entry will be benched in one double space. The second entry will share that double. If you want a separate cage/space, another double space can be purchased. The summary form delineates pricing and spaces offered. We place cages according to what is submitted on the summary form. If you answer the section "Own Cage" with *no* (meaning you are not bringing your own cage), a wire cage sized to your entry payment will be placed. Please let us know if you are providing your own cage on the summary form
The two sides of the cage, back, and top must be covered. For the comfort of your cat(s), please bring something for the bottom of the cage too! TICA rules allow no more than four (4) kittens or two (2) cats benched in a double cage. NO KITTENS OR CATS MAY BE CONFINED TO CARRIERS, EITHER DISPLAYED OR UNDER CAGES, DURING SHOW HOURS. Any person disregarding these rules will be asked to leave the show.
Special benching requests will be honored to the best of our ability. Only one benching request may be submitted. Agent request take priority over benching request. Clerks will be benched first. Vending from the benching area is prohibited.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THE DOUBLE CAGE SPACES BETWEEN ENTRIES ARE NOT TO BE USED AS GROOMING SPACES. THEY ARE BEING PROVIDED FOR SAFE SOCIAL DISTANCING.
Grooming spaces: These measure 22 inches x 22 inches x 44 inches, the size of a double cage space. GROOMING/SALES SPACES ARE LIMITED TO ONE PER EXHIBITOR.
Health: This is a a non-vetted show. Please bring proof of rabies vaccination (rabies certificate) on all cats entered, as required by Florida law. Standing Rule 205.3 - 205.3.5: Any cat showing signs of illness, parasites or fungus will be escorted from the show hall. All entries should be vaccinated against feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and feline enteritis, and should test negative for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Any cat or kitten from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within twenty one (21) days prior to the opening date of the show is ineligible for entry and / or exhibition. Cats obviously pregnant are ineligible for competition. Florida law requires any animal over the age of four (4) months be vaccinated against rabies within the last twelve (12) months (be prepared to show proof)! TICA show rules require all claws, front and back, be clipped prior to benching. DUE TO THE PANDEMIC WE ARE UNABLE TO HAVE A VETTED SHOW - HOPEFULLY THIS WILL CHANGE IN 2022.
Cats For Sale: Sales cages will be available to exhibitors ONLY and must be owned by the same / paid exhibitor. Florida requires health certificates accompany any animal sold in the state. Mystical Moon Cat Club and TICA take no responsibility for your failure to familiarize yourself with applicable FL statutes. Health Certificates will be checked.
Kittens: All kittens entered for competition must be at least four (4) and less than eight (8) calendar months old on the day of the show. 23.8.1: No kitten under three (3) months of age will be allowed in the show hall (be prepared to show proof of age). Kittens may be spayed or neutered.
Household Pets: Household pets are very welcome at this show! Declawed Household Pets are OK at TICA shows. This is due to the number of HHPs that are rescue cats and may have already been declawed at the time of rescue. Household pets eight (8) months of age and older MUST be spayed or neutered. If you are not sure of the proper division or color of your cat, check out http://www.seregiontica.org/Colors/intro.htm or send the entry clerk a color photo of your entry. Photo will be returned at check in.
Supplies: Everyone is expected to supply their own litter and litter boxes; however, we will have a limited amount of litter and disposable cardboard litter boxes as a courtesy to those who fly-in to exhibit at our show. Please bring your own cat food and food dishes.
Clerks: If interested in clerking at the show, please contact the entry clerk. Clerks will be paid $30 per day, provided lunch, a marked catalog (via e-mail only), and may have preferential benching. Requests for specific judges will be considered; however, all assignments are at the discretion of show management. Trainees and assistants are welcome. Clerks may not deduct anticipated clerk payment from entry fees.
Breakfast & Lunch: A COVID safe breakfast and lunch will be catered by Chianti's pasta and pizza.
Awards: Plaques will be awarded in accordance with TICA show rules. This show is scored for TICA Regional and International awards.

Liability: Show Rules 22.214.171.124: The show management shall take all reasonable care of cats, carriers and other personal property of exhibitors, but it is expressly stipulated that neither the show management nor any member of the club nor the club sponsoring the show can be held pecuniarily liable for the loss of or accident to the cats, carriers or other personal property of any exhibitor. Neither Mystical Moon Cat Club, Sanford Civic Center, nor TICA may be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to animals, personal property, exhibitors or their guests.
