TICA Hotel Room Inspection Procedures will be enforced and can be viewed at http://tica.org/members/forms/eo/hotel_room_policy.pdf. Entry in this show, and lodging at the show hotel, shall constitute an acknowledgment by and consent of the exhibitor to these procedures.

Transportation: Fly into Huntsville International Airport (HSV).

Show Hours: Check-in will be from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM Saturday and 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM on Sunday. Judging will begin at 9:00 AM both days. Advertised show hours for the Saturday AM session are 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM for the Saturday PM session. Sunday's advertised show hours will be 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. All cats must remain in the show hall during advertised show hours unless permission to leave is given by show management. No cats may be left overnight in the show hall.

Show Rules: TICA show rules will be strictly enforced. By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and show committee. Official show rules, registration information & forms may be obtained from TICA, P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551 or viewed on their website at www/tica.org.

Registration: With the exception of cats competing in the Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits classes, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in the cat's first show. However, to be scored for TICA titles and Regional / International awards, all cats (other than household pet kittens) must be registered by their second show. Please contact TICA for registration forms and information (TICA, P. O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551).

Awards: Plaques will be awarded in accordance with TICA Show Rules.

Health Requirements: This is a non-vetted show. Cats showing signs of ear mites, fleas, fungus, or other illness will be escorted from the show hall, along with any other cats owned, housed, or agented by the same exhibitor. All entries should be immunized against feline rhinotracheitis, calici virus, and panleukopenia, and should test negative for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Any feline from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within twenty-one (21) days prior to the opening day of the show is ineligible for entry. An obviously pregnant or lactating cat will be disqualified. TICA show rules require all claws, front and back, be clipped prior to judging. Declawed cats are eligible for entry.

Kittens: All kittens (pedigreed or HHP) entered for competition must be at least four (4) and less than eight (8) calendar months old on the day of the show. No kitten under three (3) months of age will be allowed in the show hall (be prepared to show proof of age). Kittens may be spayed or neutered.

Household Pets: Household pets are very welcome at this show! Declawed Household Pets are OK at TICA shows. This is due to the number of HHPs that are rescue cats and may have already been declawed at the time of rescue. Household pets eight (8) months of age and older MUST be spayed or neutered. If you are not sure of the proper class or color of your cat, check out http://www.seregiontica.org/Colors/intro.htm or you may send a color photo of the cat to the entry clerk along with a description of the hair length on the tail. Measure if necessary. Your picture will be returned at check-in. You will also have an opportunity Saturday morning to have the senior judge make a final determination if the color / pattern are still in question.

Benching & Supplies: Only one benching request will be honored. Agent request take priority over benching request. Clerks will be benched first. Each entry will be provided a single benching cage measuring 22" L x 22" W x 22" H and are provided with each entry. Full cage size is 44" L x 22" W x 22" H. You may pay extra with a single entry to have the full (double) cage for your cat. Note: If you are bringing your own cage, you must pay for an even number of single benching spaces. TICA rules allow no more than two (2) kittens or one (1) cat benched in a single cage. NO KITTENS OR CATS MAY BE CONFINED TO CARRIERS, EITHER DISPLAYED OR UNDER CAGES, DURING SHOW HOURS. Any person disregarding these rules will be asked to leave the show. All cages must be covered on the sides and top. You may want to bring a rug, blanket, etc., for the bottom of the cage and other items to make your cat feel more comfortable. You will need to bring litter pan(s), food bowls, and food. Litter will be provided.

Grooming Spaces: These measure 44" long.

For Sale / Exhibition Cages: Sales / exhibition cages will be available ONLY to exhibitors with other cats entered for competition.

Payment: By entering the show, you agree to pay all fees whether you attend the show or not. Entry fees are NOT refundable or transferrable. Fees must be received no later than the closing date of June 17, 2017. Payments will be accepted at the door with prior permission of Show Management.
