of our paying spectators, no cat will be allowed to leave

No cats may remain in show hall overnight. Smoking is
not allowed in the show hall.
Registration:
With the exception of cats competing in the Preliminary
New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits classes,
registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in
the cat's first show. However, to be scored for TICA titles
and regional / International awards, all cats must be
registered by their second show. Please contact TICA for
registration forms and information (TICA, P. O. Box 2684,
Harlingen, TX 78551).
Show
Rules: TICA show rules will be strictly enforced.
By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions
of the judges and show committee. Official show rules,
registration information & forms may be obtained from
TICA, P.O.
Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551 or viewed on their website
at www.tica.org.
Benching:
By exhibitor. One adult or two kittens are allowed per
single cage space. A single cage space measures 22 inches
x22 inches x 22 inches. A double cage space (extra half
cage) measures 22 inches x 44 inches x 22 inches. All
cages must be covered on three sides. For the cat's comfort,
we recommend that you provide a rug and a top cover as
well. All cats and kittens present in the show hall must
have an assigned cage. Vending from the benching area
is prohibited. Special benching requests will be honored
to the best of our ability.
Grooming
spaces: These measure 22 inches x 22 inches x 44 inches.
Services:
Litter will be available. Please bring your own litter
pans, cat food, and bowls. There will be people food available
in the show hall.
Health:
This is a non-vetted show. Cats showing signs of ear
mites, fleas, fungus, or other illness will be escorted
from along with any other cats owned, housed, or agented
by the same exhibitor. All entries should be immunized
against feline rhinotracheitis, calici virus, and panleukopenia,
and should test negative for feline leukemia and feline
AIDS. Any feline from a house or cattery where there has
been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within
twenty-one days prior to the opening day of the show is
ineligible for entry. An obviously pregnant or lactating
cat will be disqualified. TICA show rules require all
claws, front and back, be clipped prior to judging.
Kittens:
All kittens entered for competition must be at least four
(4) and not more than eight (8) calendar months old on
the day of the show. Kittens may be spayed or neutered.
Household
Pets: Household pets are very welcome at this show!
Declawed Household Pets are OK at TICA shows. This is
due to the number of HHPs that are rescue cats and may
have already been declawed at the time of rescue. Household
pets over 8 months of age MUST be spayed or neutered.
If you are not sure of the proper class or color of your
cat, check out http://www.seregiontica.org/Colors/intro.htm
or send the entry clerk a color photo of your entry. Photo
will be returned at check in.
Clerks/Stewards:
Ring Clerks will be paid $35 plus a fully marked catalog
and a lunch voucher. Stewards will receive $10 per ring
per day and a lunch voucher. Please check the summary
sheet if you are interested. Do not deduct clerking fees
from your entry. (It really messes up the bookkeeping.)
Awards:
Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with TICA Show
Rules. This show is scored for TICA Regional and International
awards.
Liability:
CAT-N-AROUND FELINE FANCIERS, TICA, or the Grand Resort
Hotel & Convention Center will not be held liable
for injury, loss or damage to cats, exhibitors, property
of exhibitors, vendors or other such persons or property
in attendance.
